February 3rd is Setsubun. After bean throwing ceremony, we ate "Eho- maki" (Sushi roll for good fortune). The good direction of this year is said to be south south east. To see good direction, make a wish, smile ^.^, and eat it bring us good fortune. Today we made sushi roll with tuna, sea urchin, squid, shrimp, salmon roe, cucumber and Japanese style omelet.
Setsubun (February 3rd ) is the day before the first day of spring according to the lunar calender.
Bean throwing ceremony is held in homes, and shrines to pray for good fortune and driving away
the evil spirit.
